Default Possible worn engine/gearbox mounts?

Ive had a search through and found a few things that sound like my problem but nothing hits the nail on the head. Its on a 2000 X reg mk2 VTR.

My problems are:
1. clunking over bumps (had new wishbones, droplinks and driveshafts)
2. snatchy gear changes (new clutch about 5000 miles ago)
3. gears seem tough to change (new x-sport linkages and griffiths QS)
4. lack of power (seems to lag on low revs)

I don't know if these things are linked but it just seems horrible to drive at the moment and running out of ideas. Just wondering if anyone has had the same symptoms and what the solution was????

Cheers in advance guys

Look towards the back of the engine bay (from underneath) where the gear linkage rod comes out from under the floor.
There's a tube welded to the end of the gear linkage rod.
Inside this tube should be what looks like a rubber ball bonded to the pivot arm which is secured to the bulkhead.
If it's missing then you'll need a replacement pivot arm and it's bracket.
I got mine from a scrappy for £3 - good news is Pug 106's use the same part.
