no longer a saxo owner
sold my saxo last monday for £1700 and i nearly cried when the bloke drove away. i really missed her for 2 days until i found my new baby. went to brum and bought a mint st24 2.5v6 with all the toys for £1600. its done just over 81000 miles with full service history and everything. it drives like brand new and the heated seats warm my ass whilst the air con cools my face. has anyone ever drove one or owned one? thanks for everyones help over the past 4 years.

Girlfriends brother has a V reg. There comfy enough with a leather interior n stuff and the v6 makes a great sound when you give it some but the VTS kicks the balls off it and it drives him mad!

yeah its not exactly fast of the line but its a lovely cruiser, it will sit all day at a ton and its not loud like saxo's either. its just nice and relaxed which is what i need for the baby really. your right that v6 sings like an opera signers its so smooth.

yeah mine is the one with the rsap kit but unfortunatly i aint allowed to mod it as the missus has said it wont be nice for the baby to have to travel around in a loud modded motor. i think it would sound sexy as hell with a k&n and a stainless exhaust on it. oh well maybe when the baby is older

depends what your looking for really and how you drive them. i will admit it doesnt feel fast off the line. i would say my vtr would have matched it to about 30-40 but then where the saxo would have died this thing just pulls and carrys on pulling. i have had it up to 130 on my private road and it was still pulling like a train. my girlfriends sisters boyfriend has bmw 328 coupe and it will keep up with that no problem. if you are looking for a nippy country road car then deffo buy a saxo but if you want something with alot of pull in any gear thats very comfortable and will move when she wants to then buy one of these. i was abit weary about the performace as its 0-60 is like 8.2 or something but i am far from dissapointed as it is fast top end.

I think the fact he drives a cossie normally makes it feel slow. Tbh i didn't think it felt fast but it could be the fact it's quite well built.

yeah its deffinatley more on the side of the heavyweight motorway cruiser. she does handle very well though considering she weighs nearly 1400kg. you can throw her into the corners and she will stick quite well. not as well as my saxo though which i miss. then again i dont miss all the rattles and shit that came with it. at least when i am going along in this i dont have to shout at the person sat next to me or wait for the car to defrost as it has heated screens. got loads of extras like 6 cd changer under the seat, half leather electric heated seats which are nice on cold mornings, air con which is like sitting in the freezer lol and traction control (which i have had switched off once and never again) and then theres the room this thing has. you could swing a cat in it its that big.
