Remove the checkstrap from the carbody.. 2 torx bits.. then you able to open the door much further to get a drill in there..

Either as above which is prob your best option, or you could centre punch a hole to give the drill bit something to grip to.

Get some electrical tape and make a cross with a couple of strips and put a few layers on then the drill bit will sink into the tape and should grip better.

That wont work, because its a screw on multiplug..

I just wired in my speakers to the existing wiring loom.. but if you putting in extra wires, drill a small hole next to the multiplug, feed the wires through, then, make a small hole into the side of the rubber tubing from the multiplug, and feed the wires into that and then into the car..

I've just installed new remote central locking, and I thought exactly the same thing, till I noticed its a screw on plug.. drilled a 5mm hole next to it, also installed a rubber gromet, and fed the wires back into the rubber tubing, looks completly stock.. and no chance of water either getting in the car or into the bottom of the doors..
