put it in fourth gear, straddle it and pull like fuck!
Tip: make sure ur sunroof is open, as i should have done! ouch!

yeah, pop it into 4th gear and pull upwards really hard, basically it takes a
bit of pulling then it just pops off.

try not to fuck the gear linkage tho...u mite end up pulling the whole thing to bits
twist and pull worked for me
