ICE advice pls - front speakers, no sub
At the moment, I have some really nice upgraded speakers in the front doors, and JBL 6x9's in the parcel shelf. Have had these for ages, and now am beginning to realise they are absolute SH1T. The front speakers are drowned out by the bass from the 6x9's but a while back I had to drive for a few days without the parcel shelf in, and I was amazed how good my front speakers sound without the 6x9's messing it up.
What I want to know is - is it ok to amp the front speakers alone? I don't want to have a sub, and have searched for some answers but can't find what I want.

well done mate.. for realising the 6x9s are utter shite
and yeah its fine to amp up the front components. theyll sound a lot nicer actually. have you got a link to the front components? and a budget. then ill reccommend you an amp for them
unless you allready have an amp?

I dont have an amp. I don't have components either, just your average-ish speakers, but they are pretty good.
Budget - dont know really.
Any suggestions welcome....

This is probably a totally n00b thing to ask, but is this amp any good? I know you get what you pay for, but I only want it to uprate the quality from the fronts, nothing special....or is it shit, and to be avoided for something more expensive?

prbs would be best to buy decent components.. but any speakers running off an amp will sound better
just so long as you get the power ratings right

OK then. If I want to get comps, amp and decent wiring kit, what can you suggest for me?
(I'm a bit of an eBay addict, so anything I should be looking at on there? I don't mind buying 2nd hand either......)

crossover seperates the tweeter and the woofer.. speaker wire goes to crossover.. then from the crossover to the tweeter, and to the woofer..
sounds more complicated to install then it is.. pred done a good guide somewhere i think
