Angry missfire???

arhhhhhhh! started my car up this morning to find the rev counter keeps jumping up and down and my car slittly wobbling so i thought it was missfiring so i changed the coil pack brought one brand new from evans helshaw with 4 new spark plugs started it up and still the same! has anyone got a idea what the f**k is going on??

are you sure its a missfire.

does it do it above idle,if not clean/renew your idle control valve

its next to the throttle body butterfly at the back.
its got a connection on it,disconnect it and give it a clean with some alchol then reconnect and try,if not its probably needs replacing,does the engine rev up fine or run above idle ok?

yeah revs up fine but moves up and down a little on its own!

If it's struggling when coming to a stop as you depress the clutch (close to conking out) I would say Idle speed control valve, but if not then then go with what saxmaster said and look into it being a faulty injector.
