Default Audio Dying

Ive got 2 alpine amps bridged, ive got 6x9's in there rear i know they are shit but they make the rear of my car louder and ive got components up front but when i connect the components and the music gets to a certain volume the components and the 6x9's die but the subs carry on working then when i turn it down abit they come back on. i have the components and 6x9s on the same channel, i have tried putting the components on the other channel but then they do not work. anybody know what might be wrong sorry if this is hard to understand rep given for anyone who tries to help :-) Cheers Craig.

Yes, thicker power cable and earth cable is probably needed.

Make sure it is earthed well too!

Thats because you are running the amp at full pelt, and it cant grab enough power cus the wiring is to feeble.

Get a length of 0 gauge running down the car.

What amp is it btw?

What gauge is the power cable? If its any less than 4 gauge then it still wont be doing you any favours matey.

I take it you have earthed the amp well? You need to put a ring terminal on the end of the cable, then bolt it down to some bare metal!
