Brake cylinders
Woke up this morning and had nothing in the brakes, realised the fluid was empty. So i filled up and now the brakes are fine again, but the rear brake cylinder is leaking and needs fixing. RAC towed it to a garage who want £240to fix it with the new shoes, kwik fit want around £190.
The handbrake light is now not on anymore, so will it be ok for me to drive to a garage someone else where I know it will be a lot cheaper?

Whole thing is a DIY Moneysaver TBH £40 - £60 max if you do it yourself, if the shoes are contaminated. Do both sides tho and you will have to bleed the system through. Not hard work.

i fitted new cylinders on myself in couple hours, had to get new shoes also as comtaminated with brake fluid, if this is only affecting one side its still needs both sides doing they come as set anyway, drum or disc?, if its drum then you got alot of fun with all the springs, take a pic of it before disassembling it for ref...

If one of your wheel cylinders is leaking, remove the wheel on the affetced side, remove the drum, and you will see the cylinder, it may just be that the black rubber cap's come loose or disloged.
If so then just put the cap back on and it should be ok.
If you have to dismantle the drum brakes, then as ChrisWoolfenden said, take a phot of the barke assembly before dismanteling, then you will save your self time when having to put the brakes back on.

Have to disagree with the above sorry buddy... the soft rubber cap is a dust seal thats all, it doesnt and wont stop brake fluid from leaking at the cylinders, that is done by the seals inside the cylinder itself. If there is seepage the seals can be cahnged but not worth it really, just swap and bleed the affected cylinder.
