3rd time and we're barely half way through the year, good luck in the next 5 months
My mate just got a 1.8D Fiesta... seems to do the trick and he got it very cheap.

Price on diesel means it won't be overly awesome. Little 1.1i would probs be better

I was gona suggest that too
1.1 is cheaper tax and better(ish) MPG, but the 306 is bigger and you can have a dump valve

If you do a lot of motorway driving the diesel would be much better than 1.1. Also if someone else was to crash into you, you would be better off in the 306 safety wise.

i have a diesel but it's a seat ibiza 1.9TDI ( 130bhp ) i can get 50mgp on the clock thing during some drives but i have yet to break 400 miles to a full tank. Ads does great with his 1.5d saxo - surprised no one mentioned it.
