what should i replace them with and how much would they set me back, and where to get them from?

just get sum components
spend how much ur willing to speand - get a decent set, u wont regret it
depends how serious you r about ur system!
if u notice - a lot of installs in a lot of cars dont have 1 single 6x9...
its for a reason

dont have anything in the back apart from the sub(s)
Run some decent front components off an amp and you will never look back

yeah ive got some alpine front speakers with tweeters, i was thinkin of gettin them in the back and puttin them where the standard speakers go, ive ditched the 6x9s but il keep the parcel shelf ive made cos the standard one rattles like fuck! ive already sold 6x9s now jus need to wait to get new back speakers

hmmm thats all i av front components n a sub, jus bought sum 6x9's 2, how cum its best 2 jus av front components which r amped like nd a sub wiv no 6x9's? is it bcos the 6x9's make sharp,high sounds n give out not much bass??

no its cos 6x9s are well a bit shit. If you really must have some rear speakers then get some decent coaxials over even another set of components but fade them out a bit

how much is an amp for a front speakers? mine are soundin fine as they are like, altho im thinkin of gettin a new amp and back speakers it sounds good im not too arsed its clear and bassy thats how i like it!

it all depends how and were you want your sound stage to be! for sound stage to be in front then the components is all you need!
if your like me and want the sound stage through out the car or basically in the middle of the car...then you obviously need some high power speakers for the rear!

wot kind of watt am i looking at to have nice ones in the back of the car? i want it too sound good but dont want to be paying loads for some back speakers they have to be 10cm aswel
