Default Side Exit Exhausts

Hi Guys,

I am considering getting some side exit exhausts for my VTS, they will poke out just behind the driver and passenger doors. I am fully aware that these will need to be custom build.

Does anyone have any experience of these and know a good reliable garage that can build the system. I am from south west england. Apparently Performance 3000 are pretty good in Yeovil.

Cheers

This is a picture of mine before it was resprayed mate, if you are going to get it done, take it somewhere that knows what they are doing!! Also, another problem to look out for is the fuel tank, on the passenger side my exhaust is almost touching the tank, so is heavily wrapped in exhaust wrap.
behind the drivers door would look pretty cool!!

Lorries have side exit exhausts.. so they cant be illegal.. Just not practical, fuel tanks, fuel lines, cutting holes in bodywork and needing custom mounts.. hence why not seen very often.

I reckon you should run 4 branch manifold to a piece of pipe about 2' long, run in out just behind the front wheel arch!! Mega loud, and might blow flames..

I dont think they would help performance wise, which would be a thing to think about before you get one.

The was some else on here which has one and it looked pretty good with a sort of square shaped tail pipe.

you can easy jack it up still, only covers about half off the jacking point, but if you wanna jack and axel stand its very hard, you have to jack the front and put on axel stand really higher then lift the back and put a axel stand on then lower the front
