Bikekid450's MK1 Focus RS (Rachel)
Well hello my friends!
I have had Rachel for some time now, a year actually, but I have just decided to put this thread up for anyone who may be interested
Rachel is a 2003 MK1 Ford Focus RS
There was 4501 of these made, she is number 4500. The last one as 4501 is missing.
She was standard when I bought her, but she wasn't looked after at all!
The day I got her:
Since then I have done:
Airtec Intercooler
K&N Gen2 Air Filter
Piper Custom Cams
AP Racing 6 Paddle Clutch
Boost Control, Boost at 22PSI
Gaz Shocks Coilovers
Mongoose De-Cat and full stainless system
SCC Tubular Manifold
Privet Plates

You might have seen my Poorly Rachel at FCS this weekend.
She is now in bits after blowing the Head gasket on the way there!
Pictures up soon of the Rebuild as I will not only be changing the Gasket

Lol, it was! Not now though as but the time I drove the 250miles home with the leaking gasket, it wouldn't idle and was smoking like factory!
Once it's back together, and It's mapped it will be 350bhp+

Yes I did! I didn't want to but I had to really, it wasn't to the point where it was really bad when I left FCS, it wasn't getting hot or anything, but I knew it was going because the water smelt like a petrol tank!
On the way home it started to loose a lot of power, and wouldn't boost, well it would but nothing happened lol.
Anyway, I'll skim the head and put bigger valves in while I'm there. If the pistons are damaged due to heat (It has over heated before due to a pipe blown off) I'll replace them with some lighter ones and put pictures up as I go
Rachel is in my Garage now, in bits until tomorrow!

Love these, but black wheels and rear rake isn't 'completely standard.' Either way this should be a great car, get those wheels silver!

Haha it was meant to be a run around but it's turned into a full time project and put the Saxo and BM on hold!
If it stopped breaking I'd be able to finish the other cars lol.

Lol, the rear being so low was due to the springs being snapped. It was on the bump stops.
The car was a state when I bought it, so much so I knocked £3K off the asking price!

Having real problems getting a place to map her now!
I have put some 650cc injectors in and every place I go to says they can't map her due to the injector size!
