Lightbulb Worth buying?

Hi all I don't post on here much because i have a 106, but i've been looking at upgrading to a vtr for a while now (mk1 because i love them .) I have missed a couple of bargains but i've found this posideon blue one (i love posiedon blue ) on a kind of impluse i drove straight up to it, looked round it, got him to drive me round in it, and i loved it so i put a deposit on it. what do you think should i go ahead and buy it?

good points are 2 owners from new (woman and her brother) 74000 miles on the clock, it looks stunning and its £1350.

bad points r some small scratches, 2 tiny dents on drivers door and an alloy thats been scuffed and badly repaired. Really bad points are marks on the windscreen where the wipers have scratched it (looks like 4 smears) and its got no service history

looks neat in the pics

but that doesnt mean fart i wouldnt touch one without service history.

best thing to do is get a mechanic to check it out, other than that it sounds cosmetic

not sure about the windscreen though, could be costly

My advice would be get the garage to put it thru a MOT if it hasn't already got a long one, as this will cover your back a little bit as it has no service history.

Wouldn't personally go anywhere near one without history. But for the money it looks nice. I'd get it checked out by an expert, especially the state of the engine.

And I'd also haggle it down to 1k, since its missing history. When it comes to selling a car with no history, you'll have a right hassle getting rid tbh..
