Im Neww
Hi I'm New,
I turned 17 recently and I'm looking for a car and the Saxo furio looks good, but I like the VTR and VTS but I know they would kill me on my own insurance but do you think it would be okay as a named driver on my mums? I as going to have a 1.8 BMW but they wouldnt put me as a named driver because of my age and it was a BMW lol

Welcome
IMO i think you should start of with the Furio on your own insurance and get your self some NCB then upgrade to a VTS
Being a named driver on a car that you use all the time is called fronting and is illegal, so i wouldnt advise it and so would 99% of the people on Sax-P

hey welcome to sax-p!!
id go for the furio mate, nice little cars, got the vt kit no them so they look pretty much like a vtr/s apart from the obvious difference interior/badges/wheels but that could soon be sorted for alot cheaper than getting raped for insurance on a vtr or s!!

Welcome.
My Friend has had BMW's since she was 18, and had no problems with insurance. With her partner down as a named driver.
