Default Rattling Rear Brake Light Cover?

Hi,

I think its the rear brake light cover that rattles when going over bumps. The rattle is some in the inside of the car in the rear.

How can I stop it? Tried taking the cover off and stuffing it with cotten wool.

Are you sure its the brake light cover??

Im presuming you meen the bulb holder..... if so you would be doing very well the hear that from inside the car!!

Have you not checked that it may be the parcel shelf? or a loose rear speaker perhaps?

I think its the trim on the inside of car that covers the rear wiper motor.

the sire off my rear wiper used to rattle against the boot plastic. until i took it all out. pretty much all the plastics in the back of mine rattled. thought it was just a saxo thing so i took it all to bits and used rubber washers and double sided tape on everything. was silent after that.
