Default rear drum

is stuck on, the handbrake has locked up on the rear left hand side of the car, we have tried to remove to the drum but it wont budge, any ideas?

just keep hitting it with a hammer should loosen it up

i had this a few years ago i am afraid brute force will be required to get the drum off and when you eventually do you will probably find that the brake shoe adjusters have broken

as said just get yourself a mallet and a chisel, the outside of the drum easily bends back into shape

thanks guys, a new drum isnt expensive anyway if it did brake, we did hit it so hard and hard it just didnt budge

there pretty solid drums mate, grind the lip if there is one on the drum, some cars wear down the drum and sometimes make a lip at the back of the frum and when you come to remove them th lip catched onto the pad and you cant get them off
