Question Knocking noise when lifting off

on every single journey i make (more distinct on short ones) as soon as i lift off the accelarator i get a knocking noise as tho the exhaust is hitting something. but after giving the exhaust a good play around i cant find it hitting against anything.

anyone had this problem and can shed some light on it??

cheers

I had this on the A1 coming back from TOTB. Mine was a strabge sorta sound and vibrated on the floor a bit. Puzzled me!
