After a few months the I dcide I wanted the clutch changed so when I got the release bearing off it was on the edge of breaking. During putting the new clutch in I dropped the starter motor and it decide it wasn't going to work so my car sat for a few days until my new one came. Got the new starter fitted but the car still made the same noise but driving was fine.
I got a laguna splitter fitted with woodscrews lol
and also went to crail for 1/4 mile racing where the vts box gave me the edge over other vtr's. 16sec was my best time. I got the car RR
at star performance and it made 107.5BHP atfw not bad as it only had 90bhp to start with.
I refurbed my vtr wheels in a greyish black.
on the sax-p stand at knockhill:
I then needed to get the wheels balanced which nationl tyre fuked up by tightening my locking bolt to much so when I went to un do them the rounded!!
It then went to the garage to get the bolts taken off. The clutch decided it was gone at the same point to so I decide the vts box was coming off as it was braking the clutches. The vtr box went back on and the car went up for asle as I wanted a clio sport.
I got a few good offers on the car but then decided I was going to keep it for one more year......but I wanted it faster!
I got a quote from Complete Auto Solutions for an engine conversion and booked it in. They said I could use my vts box or buy another for £175 at which point I remembered what I had done to the ckutch for an the mechanic said that would be th reason the clutches kept braking! So I got an new vts box too. The conversion was done in a few days and I decided to get some Catcams 708's put into the vts engine before it went in.
I got the car back the other week with a few wee niggling problems but nothing to major. The gears are sill not right but I'll be heading back to the garage for a check over soon anyway.
I got a ITG filter and some ducting to the standard air box too.
The car as it stands now:
