hey ive seen a green saxo with the tailgate lights silver and really shiny, how is this done and is it legal

yes it is legal! there was a thread that said something about it...but i believe its some sort of spray/tint technology

those r one a small batch made(now stolen and no1 knows their whereabouts)...and being remanufactured again will cost A LOT
not sure on the legality, but u can see the lights through the chrome as its etched with lots of very tiny little holes
(if its the car i think it is  )

do it yourself mate or a local bodyshop would be able to do them for you.
the laws state...
"you are not allowed to diminish your lights in any way"
having something like that is bound to get you pulled over and may be an on the spot fine.
dino, you have a black saxo dont you? why not some ultra smoked rear lights? in my opinion, they are far the best rear lights for the saxo, very reasonably priced and they look good on any colour car.

I thought about it when i had the first saxo Oz. My taste has changed a lot since then though.
it would really depend on the car they were on.
for instance - this is my old car, chrome tail lights would be an abomination.
