Default import vtr engine?

the 1.4 one, what is the spec of these? like power etc etc? i have a y reg 1.1 with a 3 plug ecu and im looking at one of these engines to drop in, the one ive seen is a 3 plug so it just plugs straight in yea? can i use my exhaust gerbox (im guessing i can?) and do i need anything else appart from the engine and ecu?
thanx

also are they just the same as like a furio engine? or other saxo 1.4 engines? if so how?
thanx

your insurance will be more than a vtr car mate!

they look at it like oh... hes done an engine conversion and put a bigger engine in, group 8 insurance for him! lol

also they will want an engineers report to make sure its all done properly etc

yeah mate a saxo with a vtr engine change will be more than a vtr lol

why dont you go for a vtr mate surely its not much difference in price from your 1.1 forte?

a 1.1 forte is group 4 insurance, vtr is group 7... or you could go for a 1.4 furio at group 5

the 1.4 vtr engine was put into some vtr's in ireland as they didnt sell the furio model.

you can pick both engines up for around the same money, so for all the effort, i would put a 1.6 vtr engine in matey

im out of work now mate so i cant afford another car, its gonna be cheaper for me to get an engine and me and my mate fit it, and the more important part is i like the idea of having a 1.1 shell with a vtr engine in it

and browne, so is the engine just a furio engine?
