GTi6 Master Cylinder
Looking at buying a 6 set of brakes. I have been reading about the upgrade, I know the calipers need grinding down etc etc. but do I need the 306 master cylinder as well or can I get away with the VTS one?
also brake hoses, are they the same? Been offered a set of Saxo braided hoses for £20 posted.

the saxo mc will run the gti 6 brakes
steve did a nice guide to adjusting the pedal for bigger brakes
as for lines the saxo ones will fit ok but may pull tight at full lock
swampy i think can do longer ones to suit the gti 6s

Well, I can get the hoses with the brake setup if I need them.. So the MC isn't a necessity? £75 with new pads without it. I feel quite happy.

master cylinder is good for getting a better pedal feel and travel.
any 23mm master cylinder will be ok identified by a raised number 23 somewhere on the master cylinder
defo worth doing
