there are guides to help people.
people dont read them, and just want staff to deal with it after when we have little power to chase money or goods.
the I trader isnt used half the time either and that is something that if people used it wuld flag up people very quickly

Rhea21 was a premium member with 8 i-trader at 100% i didnt think it got more trust worthy than that. As for paypal, complete turd. They take a cut of what i paid her and give me jack back. So in a way they helped her steal from me! Wow what a company! Why cant they just charge her card like they do for paypal fee's? Utter bullshit!

tbh if people read those stickys that the admins put up to help protect them, then thats there problem not the websites, the admins take the time to write the sticky, so why can't the people whos buying take the time to read them? its not that hard, iv baught things off here, and its worked by following the rules and the stickys

It's a risk you take buying off here. There's no way of telling if it will go ok or you'll get stitched up.
Just be sensible i.e. Buying on credit card, collect and view the goods before paying cash, ask for lots of pictures, buy from a reputable seller etc.

dont think you can buy via credit card on here, but what i do suggest is a middle man?, like a very rep admin, to hold funds in an account intill the item is received, once the item is sent/received the admin will then release the funds,? maybe you will have to pay a bit more in paypal fees but it could work,

You can use it on Paypal... meaning that you have backup if things go wrong.
Having a admin will just cause arguments as well. Just be sensible!

unfortunatly your right
the site will get a name becuase people on here dont have common sence when buying over the interwebz.. which to be fair isnt that complicated. i know who id buy from and who i wouldnt on here (not saying people are scammers, i just dont trust them enough to buy from)

its really bad when you hear this. even worse when someone wants to buy something off me and says, i am weary because I have been scammed before.
There are honest people out ther but thee are a miniority that are out to scam.
its unfair to the honest sellers as it not only makes it hard for us but also could risk us loosing the forsale section.

A middle man won't work. They actually have no power over anything so they would be pretty much useless anyway.

Thankfully all the transactions i have done/been part of have been 100% ok.
Just ask for info and that before you buy, if you *think* someone may be capable of pulling a fast one, steer clear, always another chance at some point to get the bit(s) you need.

It doesn't matter how many stickys you read, if people will rip you off theirs nothing you can do. Thats why i paid with my credit card so i have some sort of come back. I know it has nothing to do with the moderators, but dont post things about common sense as i have done everything i could have.
