VTS v GTI insurance...
just wondered if the insurance prices for both cars around the same since they are they same car basically.
I was thinking the GTI might be slightly higher due it to being a more refined car?

Being more refined won't make it higher insurance. 106 GTi is group 13, VTS is group 14.

pugs are cheaper to insure due to how they tested them to get the group down, tho they hold their value more..

when i first bought mine a gti was 1800 and a vts 1250 to insure
