i heard about this and saw an illustrated version of the solution in the paper today. i still dont see how it would work. "smash the glass of the front half of the glass to improve weight distribution... wtf!
so windows without glass weigh more than windows with glass?
i just wish fowk would leave classic film endings as they were meant to be - discussed in the pub on a friday night

No, i think they smash the glass thats hanging over the edge, to reduce the weight.
I agree though, some things should just be left.

The problem was solved anyway.
The script for the original sequel was made to follow straight on but was cancelled at the last minute
