Vts wiring loom to fit Quicksilver
i am buying a VTS engine from a mk1 VTS, so its the single plug ecu.
What i want to know is....
The engine will go in ok, and the vts loom will plug into engine fine and into the ecu.
but the loom also plugs into the car itself?
my question is, i would need to cut the plug of that plugs into car and attach a 106 plug in its place?
i was told i could sent the vts loom and 106 loom to be maded to fit.
BUT
if it got a 106 gti loom, would it fit the mk1 ecu and plug into the car connector to save me modifying the vts loom?
please please help as im only buying the quickie as its got engine problems and i have a mate who has a mk1 vts engine
i need to know asap as i wont buy the quickie if too much bother

i think you may need to chop the loom mate
best bet is to get a gti loom and ecu for the quicky
im in the process of putting a vts in a gti and im having to use all the gti loom as the saxo loom is different

depends on what plug the ecu is
if its a standalone mapped to cams get it rewired into the car on the vts loom
its easier

the ecu is part of the vts loom, its coming with the engine, it was in a vtr.
the ecu is a single plug, thats not the problem, its the connector at the passenger side wing on car im questioning.
if i get a gti loom, will it fit the wing connector and fit my ecu if my ecu is a 1 plug?

they must be as if you buy a single plug ecu, your told that fits gti or vts.
but what about were it connects to car at wing? will the gti loom fit that?
