Default football transfer, crazy ?

heyy everyone, i just saw this on a fans forum and its caused quite a reaction amongst football fans so i thought i'd ask what you guys think...

from BBC 606 - poster " CCFCnumber1 "

Chester have just made £12,000 by selling one of the centre of excellence players, from the under 13's, to Manchester City! If this young laddy gets a scholarship Chester will pocket another £5,000 and if he gets a pro, another £10,000 or so will be made.

so what do you think ? the transfer of such a young lad and for so much money, crazy ?

Not Really tbh! Theyr'e doing it so that no other club can snatch him up if he becomes successful..
...English Football needs players coming up from the grassroot's level because the amount of foreign players in the Premiership is beyond silly and everyone knows it!

Stupid, it goes on all of the time.

Chelsea's academy is full of youngsters plucked from around the world. Its why they gave us £10m for Arneson.

I wouldn't expect to come through a City now though.

Football isnt just a sport its a business...

thats how you have to look at it now-a-days..

and with youngsters being bought and sold like that, it makes you try harder yourself if your still playing football, me personally play semi pro for Belper Town Reserves. 1st team gets paid, so thats my aim

Kaka was going to cost them £100m so for a few hours worth of Robinho's wages, yes it could be right.
