Default Cam belt

hi am about to buy a saxo vts, W reg anyone know if its belt would have been changed at its 60000mi service also any other probs i will have to look out for before i buy. thanks in advance Andy

Well ask if it has been done and if they say it has ask for the receipt. Also check the back wheels for any camber. If there is it means a new axle. When the cars running listen for a squealing noise. If you can hear one push the clutch in and see if it goes away. If their isnt a noise push the gear stick to the right and see if it makes a squealing noise. If their is one its the release bearing which is a new clutch.

have a look at the cam belt if it looks new-ish leave it but if not get it changed you dont want that snapping on your way home from work (speaking from experiance)
