Catch Tanks
right, i've done a search and cant really find what i'm after.
i'm looking at maybe getting an oil catch tank, but the question i have is - on the catch tank there are 2 pipes that come out the top, one goes to the rocker cover beather, so where does the other one go?
also, pics of them installed would be great. (rep will be given)
cheers peeps

the crankcase pipe goes into the oil catch tank which then vents to atmosphere through the top one usually

Mine is in a pretty tight spot, makes it awkward to get the BMC off.

Just been looking at a few Catch Tanks and Breather Filters myself. Just in
general so chill!!
Ive noticed that with the one I was looking at the come in a 9mm or 15mm
connector form.
So I imagine the breather filter you buy with it needs to be either 9mm or 15mm.
Does it really matter which size you go for?
Heres a few links:
Oil Catch Tank (9mm and 15mm fittings)
Breather Filter in 15mm fitting
Also does the dimensions of the breather filter really matter?

you want the filter pipe end to match the diameter on your catch tank - other than that it doesnt really matter

as long as the ID of the filter matches the OD of the pipe you'll be ok.
or if you can buy one that comes as a full kit is better.

Sounds more like you have overfilled the oil and there's to much pressure.
