connecting amp power lead solution? which is correct?

Hi there, im confused! i was recearching the forum for how to connect the power lead from the amp to ........... well thats the thing i dont know what!

one solution someone gave was this:

to remove the small fuse box

Unclip the the cover off and undo the 10mm bolt, the wire is connected to the nut

Put the power lead over the bolt and put the wire/nut back and tighten

however i have a fuse box in the engine obviously, but it looks nothing like the one on the link. mine looks like this:

And the battery looks like this (the left connector is the pos and the right connector neg)

My car is a saxo forte 1.1 2000 reg.

my question to you nice people is where will the power lead be connected to?

the instrictions on the manual state the battery. but not sure

also last thing lol, the power lead has an in line fuse block on it if this helps

The fuse box is just in the first of your pictures, its at the very top in the middle of the image. Another plastic box/cover, but much smaller then the one you have opened.

The fuse on the cable goes on the engine side of the setup, not in the boot, if you needed to know.

as above (loving the paint job lol), just squeeze the clips together and slide it off and you will see the nut the power cable goes behind

Cheers. I just used the tools in PhotoBucket, could be bothered with anything else. Its gets the point across well though.

Don't forget to disconnect the battery first mate.

and last thing in the pic here (link below) you have to remove to screw. however its tricky and tight as hell and the plastic around it stops you from using many tools i.e. small rench. what tool will get it off?

Looks like you'll need a socket set to get that off?
