Default Central locking with a remote aswell

does anyone know of any good central locking kits with a remote aswell because its such a pain actually unlocking the door with my key and then climbing across to unlock the passenger side or walking around the car to unlock the passenger side. would just be so much easier with central locking. so if anyone knows of any good kits then please let me know.

and also if i bought a central locking kit and then depinned my doors, would it affect it? or would it be ok to still remove the door pins?

thanks people

its more tricky to do and takes time getting the wires through the doors. but if you know what you are doing it should not take any more than 2 hours.

it wasnt that difficult but heres a rough guide to install it firstly work out where you are going to mount the module (the thing that all the wires plug into) once youve worked that out secure in place i mounted mine next to fuse box.then remove both rubber weather strips if there called that lol 1 drivers side the other passengers then unclip the first two metal clips that secure the carpet down then remove door cards once this is done you will see a rubber gromit with wires goining in. open the door up and you will see the rubber s shape tubing which is housing old cables it just pulls out from the door and body you will then see a brown plug which u can disconnect for ease of access this just houses speaker wires ect.now onto actually running the wires lets start with passenger side first out off all the cables supplied with the kit theres only 1 earth and wire live the earth can be put on the existing earthing place which you will see then the live can be took off what you feels appropriate (i.e battery fuse box) then with rest of wires the harness should be split in two one for passenger side and one drivers then all you do is thread wires through rubber s tube just a small tip tape wires to coat hanger to poke through saves me alot of time once this is done repeat for drivers side. now you will need to drill a small hole roughly 2-2.5 cm diameter inline with the door pin and between that and th door mechinism once thise is done mount motor and join the old door pin rod with the new one connected to the motor using the supplied clip and repeat for other side hopefully once youve done all this you will have a saxo with central locking once i do my friends saxo the guide i make will be much better with pics this is my first kinda rough kind so be gentle with harsh comments
