Engine conversions
Hope someone can help - just got my first ever vtr (swapped it for my quad), thought i would hate it and was gonna sell it. I have had quite a few motors - sti - fiat coupe turbo - r19 16v - clio williams - etc etc and always used to take the pi** out of saxo drivers. What a mistake that was - i cant get out of the thing, its like driving a go kart!!! Decided im gonna keep it as a bit of a project but am looking to slam a vts engine innit. Im not gonna attempt it myself but was wondering if anyone knew anyone in the south west who could do it. Let me kno wud be very appreciative (As i plan taking it to LAD for a 180)

Thanks lads werent expecting a reply that soon. Ive seen some engines on ebay and on a website called saxoparts.com. Whats the best option? Get the same year engine? Can you still use the vtr box?
Any help would be great

a vtr box will fit but its a load of wank on a vts engine, find a vts box to go with it. also the idea is to try swap engines within the same year so the looms match up

£250 will have it done and running in a day.
you'd need to bring engine and car up to newcastle though.

IMO get the engine conversion done first - then think about more bhp.
kam-racing - kms dth bodies
sandy brown - dts standalone and mapping
