Default front light lenses

just bought some lights and on delivery they broke. spoke to the person
i bought them off and he is refuseing to help me sort my problem. told him
i would go to tradeing standards and that but he says he dont care.


has anyone removed a lense from their light and successfully be
able to put them back and had no problems? your help would very useful
as im stuck as i now have no lights and need my car to get to work
for tomorrow.

you can seperate the glass cos i dit it with my old saxo and painted the bits that werent the reflectors black. but cant remember for the life of me how i managed it. but think it took a lot of gentle persuasion so i didnt crack the lense and sealed it back up with silicon or some black bonding stuff like tiger seal but cant remember wich one.

sorry cant be a bit more helpful but it can be done. just do it slowly

Yes mate there is a thread on here on how to smoke, basically put the light in the oven till the glue melts and it comes off....... if yoy find the thread it will tell you how long and at what temp

just to let you all know. you put the lights in the oven for
15 minutes at gas mark8/450 degrees. works a treat
