Police Specials...
Hey Guys,
I've got my Initial police specials recruitment test later on today, was just wondering if any of you are specials or Pc's just to tell me a little what it would be like, also any tips from anyone of experiences for applying for police?
Rather nervous to say the least
Any help would be great
Thanks in advance
Leanne x

There's no real time span iirc, just when you feel you have the skills the regulars are looking for, but i would say longer than 12 months just to show dedication.

Having done the P.I.R.T myself, make sure you read the questions properly, as the wording can be misleading.
The scenario's can often be quite head blagging, as your personal beliefs and opinions and how you interprete them come into play...
But set those aside, re - read end everything you need to answer is there.
Dont spend time getting bogged down on questions if you can help it as you do have a time limit.
Turn up early, have a drink of water and try to relax if youre nervous.
Personally I found it relatively easy especially the mathematics, grammar, date enty and duplication sections, just the scenarios that I found more testing.
Good Luck and I hope you get on well!
