citreon saxo oil leak...power loss - Saxperience

in the last 3 weeks my car has been losing power...sometimes...when i am setting off from traffic lights....or even in any other gear aswell,but it tends to lose the power and stall mainly when i am 1st.i am findin this quite dangerous as i use the motorway alot and changing lanes is scaring me half to death because i dont know weatheer the car is goin to pick up or lose speed.i have also just noticed today that there is an oil leak coming from the drivers side of my car.the car is a 2001 citroen saxo.at first i got told it could be the air intake or a misfire but now because of the oil leak i am not so sure.i have also just had a new gearbox and clutch fitted so dont have alot of money to be having these kind of problems!!!please somebody help and tell me its not going to cost me a fortune?!!

Not saying it the cause but it could help. av u checked the spark plugs av just changed mine as it was intermitan missfire, and its running better.

im getting that checked out tomorrow at a garage but has this got anything to do with the oil leak or could this be because i have just had new gearbox fitted?

prob just a driveshaft seal mate, dosnt sound anything bad, wont have anything to do with loss of power put it that way

i dont know what a driveshaft seal is lol im a girl!how would i know what one of them is?! haha great so i now iv gotta get two things sorted i hate my carrrrrr
