Which tyres to go for!?
Getting four new tyres for my vtr wheels but got a few choices and don't know which ones to go for! Been offered:
1. Falkens for £191 fitted
2. Firestones for £224 fitted
3. Kumhos for £200 fitted
All well known makes soo is there really that much between them? Obviously would rather go for the best which im guessing are the firestones? but if theres not much difference would rather save the pennies!

Soo doesn't look good for the falkens lol. Kumhos sound pretty decent for the price though! Anyone got any experience with the firestones?

Well I have firestones but im in a 1.1 lol, Falkens are the best bet as they work well in wet and last quite long. Best bet is looking them up for professional reviews too

Dont have the Firestones! I had them on my VTR and they were appauling ... the Falkens on before that were passable... Avons on the rear were dreadful ....
Running Goodyear Eagle F1's on the S and theyre immense ....
Dont skimp on tyres... the last point of contact between you and the road..... Its worth investing.... FYI Eagle F1s should cost you between £60 and £70 per corner

Each brand does different models so you need to do some research on what you are buying.
Once you have the tyre you want, use blackcircles etc to find a local garage, then call direct and ask them to beat the price.
personally I get midrange tyres for my road car. Am running Kuhmo's at the moment and they seem good grip and seem to be holding up to my driving.
