Psycho18 Established Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: west Mids Posts: 1,775 Car(s): Mk1 White VTS iTrader Score: 4 (100%)	Whistle/squeak from engine area Got a whistle/squeak coming from the engine bay i think it may be the alternator. It is kind of intermitent whistles then stops whistles then stops type of thing. Becomes louder when the car is slowing down i.e when approaching junctions or islands. Can't hear it when actually driving. Finding it really hard to pin point the problem. Anyone got any suggestions on what it could be. It whistles when idling aswell so i can try different things to see if it stops. Any help much appreciated
