External harddrive
Got one of these and i just plugged it in to the usb and its started to 'bleep' at me and isnt coming up in my computer...?

Yeah i did and it worked!
Problem = my front usb ports on my pc dont like the harddisk but they accept anything else... the ones at the back of my pc pick it up tho very strange...
