tax is about 90 for 6 months or 180 for a year about cant remeber the exact figure jam! cudnt give you an exact figure on petrol i usually use about a tenner per 5-6 days but i dont use it loads

Should all be the same mate. Plus everyones different so you may use more or less petrol than others. Plus if something goes wrong with it then that may cost alot?

yeah thats terrible seeing as they have more bhp dont they so really do more damage to the roads. my mk1 vtr just taxed for 93 quid petrol 34 quid got about 40ltrs lasts about 300 ish miles

well my mk 2 vtr (x reg 2000) costs £180 for a year!!
Just taxed it at the end of Nov for 6 months and it was about £95 ish.
Should mine be cheaper than that then?????
Its a phase 2 so if others are lower surely mine should be too???

yours is the early mark twos with the cat underneath the car so i guess your in the same boat as the mark 1 vtr's! was there any change in tax for the mk2 vts?

i think its after a certain year you pay less tax because of emistions,i think its 2001.

i think its got something to do with when you get your MOT done. but i think its only from a certain year reg. some test centers are linked up to the dvla and if you have lower emissions you get to pay cheaper car tax. i think anways
