Default What Car? HELPPPPPPPPP

Hi All,

Im after your much needed help. Im after a car thats around 2003 and newer i have a budget of 6,000 pounds MAXIMUM to spend. i need to buy a car from a garage/dealership as i need to px a car and look at finance because im going to pay some cash and finance some of it.. Problem is i just cant decide what car to buy ive though about just about everything now i just cant decide! The car is for general use to and from work and general driving.. I need a car that is like i say above 2003 or newer (this is my personal preference as im thinking about reliability and re sell value) has 4 or 5 seats, 3 or 5 door 3 is my preference i want a black car prefably and i want something with a bit of power but not ridiculous speed isnt the main thing i want to get something that looks really nice but is not too expensive on the insurance, the car also has to be good on fuel 40mpg MINIMUM. oh and low milegage with full service history. Whatever car i decide to buy i will be keeping it for about 3 or 4 years at least as im trying to save for a house..

Please help me with suggestions on what to buy..

Thanks alot!

Mint condition VTS for about £3000 - £4000 and spend the £2000 change on modding it

Could try for a Clio 172 ?

No point suggesting 2.0 petrol cars. Diesel is his only option.
