Car(s): 2003 Black VTR
|
Just bought a black VTR
Hi there been registered on here for a year now but never posted, had a posi blue west coast last year which I wrote off pretty badly, a year later finally bought another car
Its a 2003 with only 37,000 on the clock, only paid 1800 for it which I thought was a really good deal
Pics:
Sorry couldn't get more of the front end it was parked up against the hedge
Ive ordered a supersprint pipe and piper stainless 3" from kam racing to replace the full stainless already on it with the big ugly 4" backbox and also ordered some standard mirrors off ebay to replace the gay m3 mirros
The car is lowered 50mm possibly 60mm at a guess so future plans are to buy the Apex kit off kam racing and upgrade the shocks/dampers which shouldnt be too hard as the torsion is already done
other future plans are a raceland & green filter, black angel eye headlights and small extras like strut braces and caliper painting.
I realise with these mods its gonna be the same as every other black vtr on here but to be honest I don't really want it to be different I just want a decent looking, mainly standard black VTR with a few good mods here and there
Comments on pics please! might start a project thread for the car too

Cheers mate, do you have any good pics of black mesh? I could have a go at DIYin it with some spray, main priority is to get the piper back box on though can't wait to see what it looks like

Yeah I was really impressed with that too. Also theres a passenger airbag which means no glovebox, not even a tiny one on top like in the VTS, which kinda sucks but I thought it was pretty cool coz id never seen that before either to have updated/more safety features etc. is a good thing

Yeah its still typical bad late 90s french interior design, but once you sit in it I kinda like the little square patterns to be honest its kinda funky

Sounds like you got everything under control, you know whats wrong and you got all the right ideas about putting them right.
After all its no crime to do the same mods as everybody else not when its the best mods for a nice looking motor, it would be different if you was just following the crowd for the sake of it.
Sure your see a gain in pick up with the raceland and the pipe exhaust.
Look forward to seeing the changes oh and welcome to Saxp
