right, i've got an 02'vtr and for the past couple of weeks i have noticed a kind of droaning noise when driving! it sounds like something is rubbing but i've just had the wheel off but theres no sign of rubbing any where! i need this sorting asap so any help is much appreciated! its just standard suspension as well. cheers

get it up on the ramp

handbrake off and try to wobble the wheels,
if its does then its a wheel bearing

where is the noise coming from (front, back, left, right???)

is it just when the car is moving if not could be your box

more info needed

front left wheel! yeah only when car is moving. car has done 22,000 miles

Could be the arch liner has come loose and is catching on the wheel.

no its not that! had the wheel off yesterday to check but it was all secure and theres no sign of the wheel rubbing! the tire isn't worn either
