Default please please please help me im in desperate need :(

right the story is...

car overheated on satday night got took to a compound aND kept there till today when i could get it out cost 171.00

went earlier today to get it out and bleed the radiator system,

bled the system and started the car left it to check the temp etc etc
the temp went right up fan didnt kick in but then temp fell back down to quarter mark, so i closed the bonnet and left it running to see what happened

the temp went up to just over half(which is normal for the car) then the fan kicked in... then left it running still to see what happened and it did the same temp up to over half then fan kicked in....

didnt really wanna risk driving it home in case it conked out again so left i outside the compound and went back when dad got home (so he could tow it if it conked on me)

got there checked water level n it seemed fine..

got in the car and tried to start it and it just wouldnt start even tried to jump start it and used the compounds battery booster thing but still nothing

just got back from towing it 50 miles back home

im really pissed off and want to cry

please help

sorry for the long read

Hi,

Sounds like the cooling system is fine to me. Can't immediately explain why it failed to start though.

Start with the basics; check: fuel flow & air flow, spark and then compression.

*** Check that the fuel inertia switch hasn't been tripped whilst you were away. It is the large red button in the engine bay near the left-hand side suspension strut.

reset the fuel cut off under the bonnet(give it a press), passenger side by the bonnet hinge, you might have triped it when you slamed the bonnet lol
