havent looked under the car tbh,but been offered a vts d- cat,so provisionally bought it,but since then was told off someone else it wont fit a mk2 as cat is on manifold my vts is a mk2 reg jan 2000 v plate,anyone shed any light on this for me please

all vts cats stay underneath. not in the manifold

Do they dan? I thought some were under and some were on the manifold? Best bet is too just have a look.

i'll have a look in daylight,as only agreed to buy the de cat tonight then told off a mate that all mk2 cats were on the manifold,so txt lad told him i didnt want it hope its still there 2moro

right the cat is underneath the car but there is no lambda sensor in the cat obviously it must be in downpipe then

ino the mk2 vtr cats are on the manifold. maybe thats what your thinking?

it may be the same on a mk2 vts. to be honest i wouldnt think it is.

Mine is a mk2 vtr but my cat was underneath the car. Y reg or later vtr's have the cat in the manifold. Am sure your vts will have the cat underneath.
