exhaust vibrating on main beam
since ive fitted my supersprint centre section the pipe rattles against the main beam, but if i lower it so it doesnt vibrate it looks wank.....
help and suggestions please guys

Wrap strips of rubber on the beam where the exhaust is hitting against?

where could you get rubber from?

It's what I done after seeing where the exhaust was marking on the beam and cable tied it on.
eBay? Search rubber strips, could be worth a shot lol. I found a bit in my garage that was from my bike paddock stand (to grip the swing arm).

Yeah, seems to have stopped it as it just bouncing off rubber.

I used a rubber exhaust mount from halfords to put inbetween the pipe and the rear beam. It stays in place well and doesnt rattle now lol

we've always managed to tweak the angles so that it doesn't hit the rear beam.
sometimes there is a problem with worn engine mounts and if the engine rocks a lot the exhaust moves a lot too.

Its just like a rubber ring thing mate but i dont suppose it makes any difference tbh!
Worked fine for me and hasnt melted atal!

i had the same problem DONT USE MASKING TAPE LMAO i lernt that the hard way lol ended up taking one of the mounts off the back box problem solved but does sake alot now
