cant get in reverse

put my exhaust on yesterday went to put it in reverse and a part of the linkage near the front join where it meets the manifold. its hitting this and not going in gear , how can i get around this problem, ive had a look undernearth and it must be a few mm i need.

this'll be intresting, i have a problem that sounds the same, i can get into reverse but if i were to go toward reverse it feels asif it's rubbing across something. Maybe the exhaust =/

Anyone help us out?
