Default VTS Conversion Help!

In the red circle is the engine loom that i got with the VTS engine, the blue is where it needs to connect and as you can see it isn't going to connect!
Do i need to get the other part of the loom from somewhere or is there anyway around this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as i need the car finished asappp.
Cheers.

There are 3 main types of engine looms:

- early single plug (mk1)
- changeover single plug (mk2)
- 3 plug loom (mk2)

I can imagine your going between 3 plug and changeover single plug

Well then your trying to use a mk1 single plug loom with a mk2 single plug car loom (changeover year)

you need a mk2 single plug engine loom

They were both 100% 2001 mk2 cars unless it's possible that one got half the loom before the changeover or something?

Well the loom plug would mount up perfect if the engine loom is from the same year as the car - which it evidently doesn't.

The smaller plug iirc is from the single plug mk2 with the bigger being single plug mk1

Changeover sucks ass Citroen did seem to be hugely random during 00/01. Have seen all sorts of parts being used so its very hard to take anything for granted with these years

Hopefully you can find a quick solution. certainly if you can its a hell of a lot easier to match the engine loom to your car loom as the incar loom will be a pain in the arse

Your 100% that that part of the furio loom should match up to a VTS loom?

I've done a few mk1 single plug conversions no prob.

My brother did a mk2 3plug furio conversion no prob.

Just leaving the mk2 single plug changeover year, could have an engine loom from a month in the other half of the year than the car, ie either side of the changeover.

You either get this single plug mk2 vts loom (smaller loom plug) or get som wire diagrams and get soldering/connecting wire by wire
