Corsa VS Fiesta ZS
Hey Guys and Girls
Im aiming to get a new car shortly with my 2 years no claims, Ive looked around all the obvious "2nd car" choices, but not many take my fancy
Mainly
I want a decent engine upgrade from my 1.1 forte, a nice look and decent MPG
At the moment Im pitting the Corsa (new model) against a MK 6 Fiesta Zetec S
Both are great cars however
Corsa : Is a new car and maybe more expensive therefore meaning I would not be getting as good an engine (for price) as I would with a older car (in other words more expensive)
Fiesta: Really hard to find a decent Zetec S. Also, I have a friend who worked for Hertz and has driven alot of cars
He has told me that the Diesel Zetec S is surprisingly much better performance than the Petrol one.
VS

I knew Id get this comment
The first year of owning my car, I really wanted a VTR or VTS
HOWEVER
I want a entirely different car, the saxo interior will be the same regaurdless of model or how i mod it.
I haven't considered a 207, I'll definately have a look
Thanks for the feedback so far
But yea the Corsa does look lush! But because of the cost (would have to get a smaller engine) im not sure if id get the performance out of it

That Fiesta isn't a competitor for that Corsa, the new shape Fiesta is.
Either way Ive driven that model Fiesta and own that Corsa!
Can't compare really seens the Corsa is a 1.2 and the Fiesta was a 1.6

Corsa VXR in white with black wheels looks nice.
"the saxo interior will be the same regaurdless of model or how i mod it"
What do you mean mate? The interior changes with every trim level of course, the westcoast/furio/forté/desire looks gash, VTR looks much better. GTI leathers looks good etc.

Ok Ok, So the iterior differs slightly between trim level of saxo, but to me. It will still be a saxo no matter how many Rockets NASA attach to it lol. No disrespect in anyway
My Saxo has done nothing wrong by me and is still a great car however. Time for a change
Looked up the 207, not overly impressed :-)
Thanks for the suggestion though

Whats up with the wheels on that ST???
On topic, based entirely on looks id say Corsa..performance is 'meh' on both unless you get the performance models ie vxr/sri or ST...just my thoughts of course

iv got a st, and i can vouch theyre fun to drive just like a saxo vts once u do work to it.. and if your getting a zs for heavens sake get a ST instead thats all
cant u buy a second hand ST? there are bargains going around now..
reliabilty in the STs are second to none iv had no issues in mine, and my friend has a 55 plate one which is now on 44k miles he got it nearly 2years ago with 17k on the clock and hes had to replace 4 set of tyres, a set of brake pads and discs and clutch thats it!! for all these hard miles thats all hes replaced on his ST

Im kinda sliding more and more into a Fiesta ST because:
# more affordable than a Corsa performance model
# All the advantages of the Fiesta + performance
The only thing that bothers me is the fuel eco
Im sure by now your thinking "Rogue The Picky bastard" But Just curious what is the Fuel consumption like on the ST if anyone knows. Obviously bigger engine than the 1.1 i kinda get a rough idea.
p.s Yea those dont even look like alloys on the ST

Proper ST- very pretty little car.
