i checked all the fuses and wen i swapped solenoids (without changing any fuses) it worked again? could it be that the rear wiper needs more than 12V to operate so i have blown it because of the high voltage?

if they blow it kills to circuit so possibly not, it could be the relay for the circuit they ar big electrical swotches (in short) the larger voltage running throught one could have sent it a bit funny not too sure tho, if you can find an alternate mains (12v) suply that is constant even when the ignition is off and test it off that, i ran it from the red mains from my headunit and an earth as that is live all the time

Have you used all 3 wires from the rear wiper to the popper? If so thats your problem.
1 is power all the time, dont use this 1. Connect the other 2 so it only works with the ignition turned on and it will work fine mate. Having power to it all the time is probably whats frying it
