Its about a fiver from halfords/etc and you put it in your engine oil, straight into the top. The old experienced guys tell me half a pint of diesel will do the same.

Run the car until warm, put the fluid in.

Run the car idling for about 15 minutes.

Then full oil and filter change.

Nice and easy to do. Mine hasn't come back since.

Mine did it for about a week, got the wynns stuff and it went after 10 minutes of idling.

The knocking is there whenever the engines running if its a lifter. If when your idling it stops knocking then its something else, something loose or broken lol.

Yea, its just the valve that the lifter is stuck on wont be opening as much. No real harm at all.
