So I have bought a black VTR. This is what it looks like when I bought it.

Any ideas or comments welcome.

When I bought it, it had tinted windows, (no idea how dark though) Supersprint (so the previous owner said) Bodywork needs some TLC but nothing much.

Since buying I have fitted 8K HID lights.

More to come.

HID's is a great purchase! specially the 8k's any more plans

Yeah I have, grilless bonnet, lower it 40mm, engine wise I have no idea. Any suggestions? Dont wanna spend a fortune on it for power cause for the cost of bringing it up to 120bhp like the vts i could spend on moding a vts.

So plans are:

De-grilled bonnet
smoked head lights
50mm lowering springs
Smoked rear lights
black sun strip *awaits chav comments*
color code bump strips and grey bits on both bumpers
black vts alloys
MAYBE VTS conversion
tidy up body work
Mani/de-cat

All to be done when funds and weather permit.

Hi mate nice looking motor, I'd say looking at them the windows are tinted 80% so dark smoke. Like the alloys, I assume they're 15's?

Personally I'd say don't go for the smoked rear lights. I daresay if you want inspiration take a look at my thread for a few ideas?

As for engine work a K and N induction kit and exhaust with manifold should see a reasonable increase in performance,

Lowering I personally wouldn't go lower than 40mm as I've done that and my front scrapes on full lock though I am on 16's?

Also HID's are a good idea though 6k would be better perhaps as the 8k are a tad blue (I've been informed but not got them fitted to mine yet)

The alloys are 15's. Ill have a look at your thread, thanks. I have an K&N, i have full system exhaust but i need a mani/decat. I think 40mm would be enough then, dont want it so low it scrapes speed bumps. The 8k light are bright but dont light the road up very much, they just make road signs really bright.
